Hopton CourtHopton Court which has been in the ownership of the Woodward family for five generations, is a beautiful Grade II Georgian house set on the edge of the pretty south Shropshire village of Hopton Wafers. The house dates from 1776 and is attributed to John Nash and the grounds and park lands laid out by Humphrey Repton. The flat has stunning panoramic views of the parkland, Titterstone Clee Hill and the surrounding countryside.

The nearest town is Cleobury Mortimer with its famous church and its crooked steeple - only five minutes drive away. Just 15 minutes away is the picturesque market town of Ludlow with its beautiful architectural buildings. The local pub is The Crown Inn, Hopton Wafers and is within walking distance.


THE FLAT
This spacious flat is on the top floor of the Georgian house and has an entrance lobby with both stairs and a lift. The study/library has a well-stocked bookcase. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric cooker and hob, dishwasher, large fridge freezer, microwave, a large range of cupboards and an extensive selection of china, utensils, cutlery and glassware. There is also a washing machine and drying rack, iron and ironing board in the utility room. There are two double bedrooms, one twin and one double which both have an en suite bathroom. There is a large dining room and large comfortable drawing room with a television, DVD and CD players, games and books.

THE GROUNDS

As well as your own private garden area, complete with gas barbeque and garden furniture, you might like to walk across the lawn and look at the Grade II listed Victorian Conservatory. You can also take a short walk along the azalea bed (usually flowering in late May, early June) down to the brook in the ancient woodland belt of trees.

Grounds of Hopton Court

The cost includes bed linen, towels, electricity and oil central heating. Changeover days are flexible and short stays can also be arranged. Your accommodation will be available from 4.00 pm on the day of arrival. The flat should be vacated by 10.00 am on the day of departure. Sorry no pets, or children under 12 years and the flat is non-smoking.

Deposits
We ask for a deposit of 20% of the fee at the time of booking either by credit/debit card. The balance is payable 6 weeks prior to your stay. Bookings made less than 6 weeks in advance the entire fee is payable on booking, only by credit/debit card.

Cancellations
In the case of cancellation we will give a full refund if we can re-let the Flat. If this is not possible we cannot give a refund. We therefore recommend that you take out Cancellation Insurance.
